Aspaasgården
Aspaasgården ("The Aspaas Farm") was built at Flanderborg, Røros, in the early 1700's, and moved to Sverresborg Museum in Trondheim in 1917 where it was rebuilt, just as people built houses on Røros in the 1700's. The house was modified in the 1790's by Per Andersen Indset, a carpenter at the copper mill in Røros, who had most likely visited Trondheim and picked up ideas from the big mansions in the city for his own house. He built a baroque-style house, with rococo details on the interior with heavy trimmings and panels. The house remains today as Per Andersen built it, but it has the name of the last family who lived in it.
