Cuban salsa at its best
The Cuban salsa orchestra Cubanísimo was the last performance of the 4-day long Latino Music Festival 2006 (Latinfestivalen), and they were certainly worth the wait. They entertained the audience with Cuban salsa just as it was played in the 1940's and 50's, and when they said good night, the audience screamed out for more. Cubanísimo has toured the world with many of the most famous musicians from Cuba.

winter outside but summer on the dance floor - How long is the day now in Trondheim?
On the danceflorr during this concert, it was nice and warm indeed. Some women even dug out their short summer skirts for this festival. Luckily there was a taxi stand right outside the door, so they didn't have to walk too far when the doors closed.
The sun rises at about 10-11 am, and sets at about 4 pm. I have noticed lately though that the days are getting a little bit longer. In mid-January I only had about 3-4 hours of good (as good as it gets) sunlight during the day, because the sun doesn't get as high on the sky as I would like. But now I might get 5 or 6 hours of good sunlight before it gets too dark.
